When payroll and HR and Employee Benefits information is available together through a single interface, self-service features are much more effective and employee engagement is enhanced. At some point in time in the development lifecycle of compliance software and services the emphasis moves from tactical deployment to strategic engagement. That is, the physical creation and filing of material ( Forms and efiling to the IRS) will become commonplace and the emphasis will shift to the quality and ease of engaging the product lifecycle by developing a BPaaS model that handles both tactical and strategic objectives all in a Web services environment.
